The Rundown (ISSN:0035-9912) is been published weekly (50 times a year).

Each issue, with the exception of special reports, contains three sections:

1. Lead article.  Television professionals explain the specifics of how they covered major stories, produced community service campaigns, or coached staff members to improve techniques. 

2. Across The Country.  This section reports on ideas and events that television managers should know about.

3. Special Reports. On air reports are summarized.
